Maybe not the right place to post it but.

Yea Top gear has some of the best camera work and editing from all the TV series that I have watched so far.I am very impressed, every episode there is something new and different angle that they use.

Its better then 5Gear or top gear AUS or US, very impressed by them

'good camera work/editing/music choices' being subjective, of course :P
Among car enthusiasts the angles etc they use are popular, though not technically always the best that could be employed from an 'artistic' or 'design' viewpoint.

I don't watch the show nearly enough to give specific examples, though.

Agree, top quality production on Top Gear, very hard to match by any show.

I didnt watch for a long time, and watched the first episode of the new season, they way they showed the Pagani was amazing.

I wish they could lengthen the season to at least 10 ep.

I'm sure they will be ecstatic that you approve...

Originally yes but in more recent seasons they have gone a little overboard. Some car reviews you barely see the vehicle for more than a few seconds in a shotbefore they cut away. All over the place really.

The sound guys really make the segments IMO. They're superb.

Put simply, they have the budget to hire the best.

I don't think it's just Top Gear. BBC in general does some of the best cinematography around. I've been watching their Wild Africa recently, and even if I had no interest in the content, the visual work still makes it worth watching.

I wish top gear was like days of our lives, new episode every day...

I wonder...Maybe if they spend 4 million dollars on a episode like Terra nova we could get one everyday :D

They use Panasonic Varicams, with an array of filters and post grading.

The US version has no budget and have resorted to using Canon 5 and 7D's for their car shots.

Ok season 20 is 2 episodes old already. Is it just me or does it feel like they have drifted too far cars and entertainment to being a little silly? I've always loved Top Gear for the entertainment value, as that whats the shows about more than the cars, but sometimes and especially in the last 2 or series it feels like they out of ideas and dick around a bit too much.
If you have watched S20E02 I found the bit Jeremy did on the Ferrari F12 very dull and I learned nothing about the car.....come on boys...stop trying so hard and be causal again, it feels far too scripted.
