Got one of these ; never use it ... seen I have a balance of R530.00

Best way to get 'rid' of this is use prepaid data at R2 per MB and get 260-oddMB? Or is there a better way?

You should be able to buy a 3gig bundle with all that airtime ;)

Ja, I'm on topup 135 too and I buy 2GB bundles about every 20 days for years now...

You should be able to transfer a certain amoutn of airtime from your top op in account to another top up or prepaid number. You can not send it to a standard contract number as it does not support the prepaid billing platform.

The SP will determine an amount a contract customer can transfer per month. This limit can be between R29 and R2000 per calendar month.

Prepaid and Top up customers can only transfer up to 80% of all recharges made. Any denomination can be transferred with a minimum of R29 and a maximum of R2000; it will credit the receiving customer's airtime account.

How to do an Airtime Transfer

THE My Phone MENU OPTION

Key in *111# Dial
Select Option 6 (Airtime transfer)
Select 1 (Transfer airtime)
Select the amount that you would like to transfer

You won't lose you money , but yes you can purchase the data bundle.

I've never had a top up or anything ... how would I go about doing this ?

*111# > 2 - Bundle Purchases > 2 - Data Bundle > 1 - Broadband Standard > Make your choice

"you are not provisioned to use this service" :-(

Top Up numbers needs to be provisioned for it. 082111 will do this for you.

Prepaid numbers are automatically provisioned by the system when they go live.

Gonna add my 2 cents: What ocleroux said is half true, top up customers are allowed to transfer airtime but not the airtime they receive at the start of the month(135) for example:
You got your monthly R135 airtime and go and buy a R110 recharge voucher, you are now only allowed to transfer the R110 airtime to someone else but still not your monthly airtime you get. Hope this helps
