TopTV functions and features

I must say the Interface is INFINITELY better than the carp that Multichoice have us using.... (at least in the way it looks)

They are expecting a further 50 channels before end of year, with 10 + of them HD (which means there will be a new HD decoder by end year....also told this will be a PVR type system)
 
If they can rollout HD by the end of the year, they'll have a new customer in me... INSTANTLY...

That is impossible.There is no space on their transponders for that.

Another 15 channels before end of year.
 
Does anyone have any idea what the Mosaic button on the remote does - i have tried it in multiple instances but so far as i can tell, it does nothing?

I wonder if they'll have some kind of TV guide. I don't want to have to hop online every time I want to see what's coming on a few weeks in advance.

Using your remote you will be able to view upto 5 days by pressing '?' (tv guide) button.
 
Here is something I also know not asked....

Does toptv have a Strong Language block thing that Mnet and MM1 etc have?

Yes. It is called parental control. Press Menu - Settings - parental control - enter pin(0000) - Submit.
 
So back to my question about the Mosaic button, which can be found beneath the down button (i believe it's unmarked on older remotes). Does anybody know how to use this functionality please? I am hopeful that it might give a grid of several channels at once, but really can't be sure. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!
 
wish the mosaic button would work DSTV use to have it. think it was channel 99 back then. i like my toptv has the old classic movies on
 
It just takes up another channel. I think that will also cause degrading.
