Anyone else having issues downloading torrents though telkom, ATM?
Since yesterday they been slow, but today nothing!

I can browse fine and everything else.

I'm also having problems! My torrents only reach download speeds of 10kbps if I'm lucky whereas i was getting up to 120kbps recently. Been slow like this since Friday. Perhaps Telkom has implemented shaping for p2p... But I only just changed over to uncapped and my only reason for that was to do downloads. I've used torrents happily for a few years now but maybe I should look into seedboxes? Any suggestions?

going through mweb and no issues, but will test telkom tonight and let you know

I cannot download a single thing via torrents.

I'm using uTorrent, and the trackers just keep timing out. Good to know I'm not the only one. Wonder how long before it works again.

Yep, since Saturday night my peer-to-peer download speeds have been crushed.

I switched to Telkom uncapped saturday morning and had full speed downloading via uTorrent.
It's quite obvious that I couldn't have downloaded a huge amount on data, so I have no reason to be limited like this.
Atm , i'm lucky to get 4Kb/s download speed.

To get decent download speeds is why I left afrihost and axxess -_- Not impressed atm

whatever the reason, I hope they pull up their socks fast. wasting my money here.

I'm planning to swap to the uncapped service, just waiting to see feedback and comments on people who have moved.

Can Telkom not just at least let it users know of ongoing issues. Managing customer expection is key people!!

same here:
torrents are dead on telkom 1mb uncapped..

Yes this telkom uncapped is really pathetic. I have a few episodes that just will not start downloading. The moment I switch to MWEB.... it works. If this is how the telkom uncapped will stay I will have to cancel soon.
I agree. Torrents seem to be blocked completely. I get a message saying that the connection was refused after each retry. Well seeded torrents are sitting at 0kbps getting these 'connection refused' errors. I thought I would throw a bit of cash Telkom's way to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if things continue like this I will stick with Openweb. I hardly use torrents, but would like to be able to if need be since I am paying for the 'privilege' to download what I want, when I want within reason.
