TrackMania Nations Forever

I don't really need to know whos infront of me etc... Just so long I know that say, my SA friends are on the server with me, that's good enough for me :)
 
Ok, I accepted gidza and Luke as my buddies, but how do you join a server when one of your friends is online ? and how do you join a group, like the myadsl one ? :confused:
 
When I'm online and playing StoneCold, and you open the game, it will say "gdiza" currently online with the option of joining my server, you just click it and you join my game.

As for the groups, I haven't been able to do anything there yet.
 
Groups are under profile, but there seems to be a problem with them. "They" say it works for TMU-F only (not TMNF), but I've created a group for me and my 2 boys (I've got 3 TMU licences) and although we can join the group, it shows as "not ranked" and no players are visible.However, groups I've created/joined on TMU prior to Forever works just lekker.

Just on a related note....you can have only 3 groups. If you run TMNF, you can have only 16 buddies, 64 if you have TMUF
 
Ok, lets try the group thingy....if you have TMU forever (if not, try it anyway :D) Go Profile, you'll see Groups on the right. Add, then next to Login type myadsl , password myadsl, then click subscribe (twice maybe). It should say ".....will cost you 0 coppers", click ok . MYADSL should now show as a group.

Did well tonight, came 3rd in one race, 3rd in another, then 2nd and then decided to stop for tonight.

Having fun with this game! it's really cool!

You did well, yes. It was my first time on a 'Rounds' server, was confused for a bit :o Fun though!

I enjoy the games more last night because no 1 player dominated 'all the time'

If you remember the other night, that Russia guy won like EVERY race, its really stupid, I won a race, then you won a race then gatt-r won a race etc etc etc, different ppl won races which kept the scoreboard tight and the games fun.

Should be like that more often.
 
yeah, it was cool to try something new. It also annoys me when one or two players dominate all the time, but it motivates me to do better :)

The cool thing I discovered about Rounds is that, (almost) no one does a perfect run every time. Mixes up the standings a bit more.
 
If you're talking about United in general.....it's nice. Had it since the beginning (Nov 2006), purchased online. Not too fond of every environment (combination of the environments in Original & Sunrise & Nations), but if you want variety, you'll get it in United. Stadium environment still the best though
