Traffic cops hunt CA 488281

Now that's a bit unreasonable. They often stand around during the quieter times of day doing very little. Rather send some plainclothes guys through to spot some licenses, and then let them call in the uniforms if they spot any wanted taxis. That at least won't disrupt the transport for all the people that depend on these taxis. Smashing a fly with a hammer is not practical.

And CA plates mean they can still be anywhere in SA.

What I would also rather do is put up a post with 50 wanted plates. Anyone that can supply enough information to lead to an arrest gets 20% of the paid fine. There are a lot of people that use taxis that can use that money. Standing around waiting for a taxi gives you a lot of time.

Unreasonable why??

The pork idiot have no problem road blocking the busiest roads at peak traffic in johburg and pretoria. Why should Taxi's be exempt from the inconvenience??

If that numberplate is registered, surely there is a owner attached to it, with an address. So what's the issue?

I hate fscking taxi's

One would think that after 10 or 20 there should be some alarm bells ringing.

daveza: this is Cape Town bru... they call it 'the mother city' for a reason, takes 9 months before anything even STARTS to get done. :D

If those traffic cops who sit inside that caravan on the N2 (by the airport), take the trouble to look out the window, they must spot them about 10 times a day.

In order to renew your license disc you have to pay all your fines as well, so his disc must be invalid as well.
