LOL a friend of mine who has cancer takes this. Potent! Why is your colleague using it?
I'll have to watch myself on it then - I have never been an addict to anything though and taken some pretty potent stuff (Halcion etc)
Back pain. I have broken up wisdom teeth - besides the trippynes its a great pain killer - organised a prescripition of tramacet not sure if as effective-
Tooth extraction only due in November
My dad takes alot of pain killers cos of his slip disc so i would think he has an incredibly high tolerance. One day he had severe back pain and the doc gave him tramacet - he threw up for 2 days and had to go to hospital. Id watch out for that one!
lol nice ... take your buddies meds thats a very good idea, especially when you dont know what it is. So tell me what would you have done if you were extremely allergic to it ?
Secondly tramadol is a benzomorphan and is a moderate to strong painkiller. Will make you drowsy, you can boost the power of tramadol with paracetamol (tramacet®). Can go up to 400mg/day never more than 100mg per dose can be done 6 - 4 hourly.
Most common side-effect is nausea. Dont consume and drive under its influence if it hits you hard it would be worse than drinking and driving.
I think only if you are taking beta blockers or ace inhibitors can pain meds affect you otherwise you should know if you are allergic to one of the components.Do doctors check for possible allergins when prescribing pain medication? A doctor prescribing this is surely taking just as much of a risk as I am.
PS no recorded allergies so far in my medical history. Also did some research on side effects.
Overall decided to not get script and opt for something less addictive
