Durban is next on our menu . And we are going to scrap the N part of KZN . Jburg and CPT are going to survive .

And on what will you base changing the name of Durban considering the land that Durban is built on was legally given to the settlers nearly 200 years ago?

Legally given , dont make me laugh . Its our land which was stolen by the english people . At least PE will be changed to Nelson Mandela City or some other name I am forgetting .

At least we know Fynn stole the land . Shaka could barely read or write , what makes you think he gave 25 miles to this guy ? Its fabricated english history as usual .

This whole sag is a pefect opportunity for Zuma to reconsile blacks and whites.....

why do i say this, you ask?

Zuma should step up and say that Pretoria is an important name for SOUTH AFRICAN history [yes, white people are actually part of south africa, and contrary to what vantage believes, we did actually help build south africa into the country it is today [Vantage, why do you think South Africa is SO much more developed that the rest of Africa??? [and yes i'm going to say this] hint: the other afican countries never had whites trying to make it a better country.....

Then he should order the council to use R XXX million that it would have cost to change the name, and build schools/clinics/housing for poor people....

THAT way, Zuma scores massive points with whites, and poor people will benifit financially from this.....

Vantage, just FYI, even after 10 years since Pietersburg/Potgietersrus/Warmbad's names have changed to Polokwane/Mokopane/Bela-Bela EVEN the black people i know still refer to it as Pietersburg/Potgietersrus/Warmbad :whistle:

Yes the whiteman built those cities bUT the blackman was getting 2bob per year for all the labour , living in shanty towns , carrying passes and no access to European only toilets in town.Talk about not appreciating , nxa . Not to forget the people that they dispossesed and the land they took .

Why should this animal called reconciliation be about us bowing down to you . When have we ever seen an act of reconciliation from the other side ? Its always us forgiving , moving on . For you its get over it , we built this and that but not a mention of the black people that did all the dung labour .
Anyway I trust the Anc will change what is necessary .
