Ok - that would be frustrating.Nice hack but my problem wasn't with the reception but the fact that it constantly lost the frequency I had set, very irritating!!!

I now have the Monster iCarPlay wireless plus. The sound is better than any of the others that I've heard. I have very fine control over the frequencies and have absolutely no problems driving between Centurion and Rivonia, or Centurion and Durbs for that matter, not a single tone of interference. Slap it in my armrest console (which has a socket built in, go Subaru) attach my RF remote and forget about it, it even turns the iPod off when I shut the ignition off. The only time I see my iPod is when I re-org my music (which means would-be criminals don't see it either).
It was a little pricey but worth every cent!!!
