TV versus online video

The evolving TV and video industry faces uncertainty as it embraces new technology like wireless streaming, as traditional US broadcasters urged lawmakers Tuesday to help preserve their marketplace primacy.

What broadcaster don't seem to understand is that I do not need TV to survive. I watch what is available online, but taking that option away from me only means I will do without TV and not that I will fall back to broadcast TV.
