Twisp - Electronic cigs

I have the twisp. On;y found out about NJoy after I bought the twisp.
To be honest, I probably would have gone for NJoy. There's no denying Tracey McGregor..rrrrr

The Twisp is ok.
The battery and filters don't last as advertised though.
Also if you use the drops, you must poke the filter out and place the drops onto the sponge, else everytime you inhale you will pull in liquid which is really annoying. They don't tell you this. Otherwise it's not too bad. I have the Twisp mini.

Thanks man

And no denying Tracy, They would've had a real winner had they just brought out a Tracy flavour :D

I bought the twisp mini, realised after a week or two that this might actually work, then got a Dura-C, then an NJoy, and a 801 (from China). The Njoy produces by far the best vapour (really, really good!) but the batteries died after a few weeks. I turned one into a manual switch which plugs into my usb port and it works fairly well.

The 801 is almost exactlythe same as the njoy, but one atomiser lasted only a few days. The other is stillgoing strong 3 weeks later. But they're cheap from China, so I plan to order 2 atomisers a month.

The liquid is also really cheap from China - R80 for a 30ml bottle (10ml sells for around R200 locally, with the cheapest being a chap in KZN who sells 10ml for R110).

All in all, I love vaping, and haven't had an analogue in over 6 weeks. Can't stand the smell of a "real" ciggie now.

Hey the USB passthrough- does it make a big difference?

I figured it all out. Both Twisp and Njoy vaporisers are sold by other suppliers at far cheaper prices. They're just rebadged sticks from the same Chinese factory. Check e-cigarette-forums. Better prices too.

It makes a huge difference -- if it's plugged into a powered USB hub or adapter (I plug mine into my iphone charger). It doesn't work as well plugged into a normal USB port, because I think the voltage is lower or something.

Your other comment about twisp and njoy components being rebadged items from the same factory in China might be true (the njoy penstyle's parts, for example, are 100% interchangeable with the 801 penstyle) BUT I far prefer the strength and flavour of the vapour that my original njoy atomiser produces to the vapour produced by the 801's atomiser I got from China.

All the 801 atomiser's I've ordered from China produce a far thinner, less flavourful vapour.

Could be the 2 hole vs. 4 hole atomizers, the old ones have 2 holes. More vape:D
I'm looking for a prodigy now. I want to be enveloped in clouds.
Still prefer the NCIG reg tobacco carts because I feel like a junkie topping up my fix with the 10mg bottles of liquid every 10 mins or so. How many drops is one supposed to add into the wadding?

Dunno -- can't see any holes in mine?

I want a screwdriver so badly -- but they don't ship outside the US, apparently. I also feel like a bit of a junkie with all my "paraphernalia" :D but I just could not ever smoke a cigarette again. Dang those things are foul!

I don't use the wadding: with a manual switch (plugged into the USB) I don't have to worry about a switch on the battery, so I just drip direclty onto the atomiser: about three drops at a time.

I buy Dekang liquid at Bogey at R47.00 per 10ml

You can compare the different manufacturers here: http://www.bogey.co.za/Products/ComparisonMatrix.aspx

I like it that people smoke more - as long is it will kill them sooner. Hopefully Twisp is just as deadly as the normal ones.
