Unable to launch Oracle

Hi guys,

I have recently moved to a new house and when I tried to launch Oracle 10g Express on my desktop pc yesterday I keep getting an error:

127.0.0.1 is not reachable

Before last night I have been using Oracle 10g for more than a year without any problems.

I have pinged 127.0.0.1 to see if my network settings are working and everything seems to be fine.

Is there anything else I can do to launch Oracle ?

Well obviously if you ping your own computer you will get a response.

Try starting Oracle... Might sound stupid, but I had the same problem, until I started SQL
