I've read some of the comments on the so called new ADSL packages from MWEB and @lantic. South African public is been lead by their noses with these offers. Have anybody wondered why a person with a 384 line pays less for his uncapped data than a person with a 4096 line. The cost of data should not depend on the speed of the adsl line. I don't pay more for airtime whether I have HSPDA or 3G. I pay the same prize. Currently I don't pay more for the data part on my adsl line. I pay more for renting the line from Telkom, but a set amount for the data whether it is 384, 512 or 4096 line. The cost of the 4096 uncapped is R899 (R419 line rental), and for 384 is R349 of which R219 is for data and the rest for line rental. The rest of that amount is for Data. If I buy petrol I pay the some prize for the petrol at the pump whether I drive a Beetle or Ferrarri. Charging more for uncapped data because I have a fast modem is crazy. I already pay my dues for renting a faster line. Can anybody give me a logical answer
