I assume that this won't work in a tablet either, decisions decisions decisions!
Similar to Afrihost’s MTN-based mobile broadband service, LucidView’s cellphone data plan is month-to-month.
Meaning it is on the MTN network, so why can't I use their APN, like "lucid" or something then get this deal on my current MTN contract with Uncapped internet for an additional R199?
Afrihost currently offers the use of their APN on the MTN network without using a different sim...
Existing numbers may then be ported to this new SIM card.
We need DoC or ICASA to step in and determine what the minimum usage on a medium constitutes uncapped as right now u can make an uncapped 1kbps after 100MB product and sell mass. They did this for the term 'broadband' they need to do this for uncapped asap

The telecoms market in SA have put a spin on the term "UNCAPPED" - just about every offering available comes with T & C
Advertising Standards authority should sort out this false advertising
Uncapped is Uncapped and nothing else
And when service is launched at R3k/pm we'll be biatching again. At least there's no (apparent) limit. R199 is dirt cheap as well.

Also I take this is prepaid only. Afrihost only allows for contracts.
Yes, it's time for prepaid guys to benefit
They can shove it, I don't want unlimited usage.
Give me a generous softcap, that is all I need. I am quite sure I speak for the majority of internet users.
They must also regulate when a broadband product no longer qualifies as a broadband product per the DoC definitions, i.e. don't advertise it as uncapped broadband, rather uncapped data.We need DoC or ICASA to step in and determine what the minimum usage on a medium constitutes uncapped as right now u can make an uncapped 1kbps after 100MB product and sell mass.
