Use 400MB at full speed
next 160MB @ 512kbps
After that 245kbps and at some point after that @ 56kbps

Is that right? Or is that per session?

If the first understanding is correct this is the worst "uncapped" offering on the market.

From my understanding it runs at 4Mbps and is not usage based but rather based on the available bandwidth.

Where LucidView believes they really stand out, is that they won’t throttle or shape subscribers based on how much data they consumed in the past.

Wait, for this to work, you have to insert/use the sim on a smartphone? Well, I suppose on Android you can hotspot the connection.

They've killed it: month-to-month.

Wilson said that the first phase of registrations will be limited to eBlockwatch, Rapewise, and LucidView’s existing customers.

Asked whether LucidView has plans to open registrations to the general public, Wilson said that it is dependent on demand and that they hope to do so in time.

Wait, what? Demand is sought after, yet not opened to the public?

Existing numbers may then be ported to this new SIM card.

Was able to signup and everything.... I chose the nano sim for my iphone. Lets see what it looks like. I see it includes R50 aitime for talk and sms, so does this mean its like a prepaid sim cause they say its a fixed fee of R199 per month

Hehe, I'm really hoping they can make a success of this. LucidView is the same company that built the Gr8signal app I wrote about awhile ago.

This is new ground for them, so I think a slow start to find their feet is a good thing.
