Still, if you're definitely only using say 40GB max a capped account would perform better, if you can get it at a decent price. But knowing that you can download as much as you want is handy too, you'll probably end up downloading more if you can.

Yeah, will likely go for an unshaped capped 100 gig account. Same price... guaranteed speed... more than enough extra if I want to use more than normal. I don't really download much, apart from the odd piece of MSDN software or streamed video.

As much as it was a 'great progress', comparing my few gigs of Telkom bandwidth to what I have now, and also the many many complaints and speed problems people have, I can come to the conclusion that 'the internet experience' was of a much better quality before all this uncapped business.

The only difference I'm getting, is the fact that I dont have to wait for the next month just to check my Gmail

The fact that the current sorta-uncapped product is viable on this scale is an improvement on what was before. It'll get better with time imo.
