I honestly feel like you ask for help and then when it's given, nothing. I told you, do that training and you will be able to work for my girlfriend and make some money. The training is free and you're home all day.

You're going to have to start facing this thing and getting proactive bro. Sending out your CV etc is excellent, but you're jobless. Best thing would be to grab what you can and get money coming in. A crap job is better than no job if you're in your position.

This is FUNNY. I have an Engineering degree was unemployed for 4 months before starting at DOS.

I was then unemployed for 7 months before finding my current job. I know dozens of people who have been unemployed for at least 6 months and some even for 2 years. I know someone with Cum Laude Masters in Engineering who struggled to find employment.
 
All I can say kneel down and pray God bless. I have been in your shoes I know how it feels to be unemployed.

Yeah bru its really tough to put pride aside and just jump into doing something like waitering hey... My one mate gave me a talk the other day similar to this. I am considering a crappy job as a financial advisor. but that is 100% commision

What was the training? when did you send me this?

I once spoke to a well to-do executive and asked him for his top tip in getting ahead. He said when you start out, you should never look down on a menial job or a menial task if that is what is required at the time. Bill Gates once said something similar. You seem to think you are too precious to do something like waiting tables while you are looking for a job. You seem to be of the same character as my useless brother in law who thinks he is too good for an ordinary job and has instead been sponging off his family for more than a decade. People on this very thread have offered suggestions and opportunities and you throw it back in their face. Grow up.

My girlfriend does Digital Marketing - Adwords, SEO, Organic (FB, Twitter etc). You can do that training for free through Google Partners. Then you can do the FB training for free as well.

So if you get trained on this and learn how to do it, you can make money doing people's digital marketing.

Being a financial advisor is a crappy job? I am surprised that a marketing person can get into financial planning... Think you need to come down a few notches there. Millions of people do casual labour every day. I even worked a second job as a waitress as a young adult to pay for my studies. Stop being such a whiny bitch and just do it.

I get the feeling "Financial Advisor" == "Medical Aid/Life Policy" salesman. Still, a job is a job, a pay check is a pay check and a clear credit score is a big thing.

Yeah, but if you start with one of the big companies, you do get a lot of training, and if it's your thing, you can go far and actually add value to society, so don't poo-poo it out of hand.

I didn't pooh pooh anything, I never said it's bad. Was just clarifying what I think he meant.

Absolutely, get in there, get a job, get trained, get better, work your way up, live life. Excellent.
