Unifi Network Application / Docker Help

My NAS Web GUI log in was on 8080 and 8443, I've changed those now so Unifi is using the defaults.

Do I still need to do the above to adopt or can I just reset the devices?

If running the default 8080/8443 on Unifi the units should auto-adopt (if you add a DNS A-record for "Unifi" pointing to your NAS IP they should adopt pretty quickly) otherwise use the CLI method

Thanks they hooked right up with inform host override and a reset.

Now... How do I hook it up to Home Assistant? The entire point of this exercise...



Which host, username, password and port do I use?

I've tried combos of the server IP, docker container IP, UI log in, the user/pass container log in, sifferent ports, all give an authentication error.

If you go to the settings of the Unifi web UI and look for device authentication it should show you the username and password.

Had to use the server IP, port and UI.com log in username and password|code because I use an authenticator app as 2FA.
