In the Namibian desert...
Whilst getting dressed for work this morning, I glanced down at my esteemed footwear, a pair of Jesus Sandals....
I wear a pair of shorts and a jeep T-shirt to work every day, perhaps in the middle of winter for a few days I might splurge out and wear a pair of takkies and jeans.

I only wear Jeep T-shirts, not because I own or would like to own a jeep, but because due to my er...uhm... medical condition, er.... Wide Girth Syndrome, these are the most comfortable size T- shirts to wear,

I even attend meetings dressed like this, much to the disgust of my partner who is always adorned with the finest corporate wear....

Got me to thinking, what do you okies wear to work? Safey Boots? Fishnet stockings and a hard hat?

Yes. But how the fsck did you know about the fishnet stockings under my cargo pants :erm:

I guess it depends on which line of work you're in. I am in corporate IT so it's pretty much par for the course I think.

I wear black pants and collared button up long sleeve shirts to work during the week with loafers, or safety shoes when I visit the industrial sites.

If I work weekends, I wear a pair of jeans, a golf shirt and my brown hiking shoes (or again, if going to the plants I will substitute for safeties)

Same here, Jeep shirt, shorts, sandals. I'm a Developer for a corporate.

All the jeep shirts... Me too - 60% of the time. Or a vest. Depends how I feel.
Other 40% it's chinos and short sleeved collared shirt.

I heard that the Arabs like that type of thing!

I'm a safety boot, hard hat, reflective vest kinda guy. OK, I've got no choice in those elements, but my trousers are always King Gee cargo pants from Australia which are designed for site conditions in extreme temperatures.

On top it's a polo t-shirt so I can turn up the collar in the sun to protect my neck.

And I always have a Buff on hand for dusty days.

We have a relaxed invironment at our offices. I will either wear black dress shoes with chinos and a golf shirt, or vodacom branded golf shirt or a pair of jeans with aforementioned golf shirt and tekkies.

Long and short sleeved button shirts (some folk wear ties on Thursdays for the hell of it)
Jeans
Smart shoes

on Fridays we may wear t-shirts and sneakers

Ended like this...

When I started out, collar and tie was compulsory. No tekkies or trainers at all. And you had to wear a jacket when you went to your manager (one above your supervisor). There were no casual days.

Shorts, golf shirt, sandals in the office.

Chinos, golf shirt, casual brogues for client visits although I'm trying the Israeli socks & sandals look ATM and they seem OK with it :)

Me thinks when you started out, you had to park your ox wagon on the village market square and walk the rest of the way to work!

I am prone to safari suits for some reason this year. Bloody comfortable as well.
