Unlimited Data SIM

I'll wait for the verdict from the guys that ordered, that required cell number field is not a good sign. Don't want to be farmed out.

I wouldn't expect it to last more than one month of usage but should be interesting if it does :-) probably 1GB and then FUP kicks in @ 64k
 
I suppose they associate RICA to the phone number provided, it seems the reasonable thing to do and much easier and probably cheaper then doing the full circus over and over again.

It shows that plenty of bandwidth is available on the MTN 3G/4G network and it is for sure the same with other providers. The reason is that it is overpriced, that includes the last (RIP) Afrihost promotions. Whatever their calculations for maxing profit tell, people here just don't have the money.

Doesn't somebody have a fibre access point we can link to MTN LTE bought bulk? If so, then let's make a primary cooperative and get happy mobile surfers!

I am surprised no one replied that they got their sims and all is working fine. Oh well, if it too good to be true it probably is. As they say :)
 
The way I see it, the jury is still out until we have feedback from a user of this service.
I'm just surprised nobody on this forum has subscribed this yet. I may have to take one for the team.

For 'academic reasons', I'd be keen to see if I could tunnel my way around the adult content and streaming media blockades.

Have been using them since 21 December 2014, no youtube, no photo sharing even apps, no iTunes, Android updates and Google playstore works. No FTP sites, no video download at all, DSTV NOW and Explora connect works, using a LTE router, no LTE even when in known MTN LTE coverage.

But since last night it has stopped with ZERO connection possible, looks like MtN pulled the plug on their little exploit. The phone support according to their website is not working or not being answered.

But hey over 10K likes on FB and say half those people did buy the sim then they made a lot of money for a litlle effort!!
 
I am at the verge of signing up, but I am wondering why we have had no feedback from any of our guinea pigs?
Could they be blocking MyBroadband so the guys dont give us any feedback, perhaps they got a delivery of nuts and not a sim :wtf:

Theres feedback from only one guy on the actual news report but any sane person cannot just take one persons review seriously.

Need more reviews to establish an average and make a decision.


Im currently on telkom mobile 2.5gig + 7 night and for 99 im getting more than moneys worth of internet gaming but 50 more and its unlimited and its no contract ? Danm gurl ... Gimme some o that
