Unreal tournament Pre Alpha

Good Day Fellow PC Gamers

To those who don't know Unreal tournament is a franchise dating back to 1999 that is all about frantic fagging and fast game-play,it redefined the first person shooting genre and it includes different game modes such as Deathmatch and Capture the Flag similar to the likes of Quake.

Last year the developers of Unreal, Epic Games announced that the new unreal is in development and can be downloaded for FREE "not free to play JUST FREE". The game is being developed alongside the devs and fan base, to create the best game play possible.

As avid Unreal Tournament gamer since a young child, it disappoints me that there are no South African servers online.Playing on a international server is terrible with the lowest ping of 200.

I want to gather all S.A Unreal Tourney players on this thread or welcome anyone new to the game, perhaps from there we can set up a few servers and enjoy what this great game has to offer! ,so introduce yourself let me know your thoughts ideas and if you on board.

Hi did u watch the whole trailer? its because the game is a reboot of the series.The new game is running on unreal engine 4 it has superb graphics

Not sure, but it seems like anyone can host a server installation judging by this:

So in theory someone with a fibre line can host. So if there isn't one up yet then its only a matter of time.

HUGE Unreal Tournament fan but I haven't played anything in years. I've downloaded and installed, but the fact I no longer play shows- by way of not having the hardware to run it sufficiently
I'm not sure I want to fork out the cash for a new graphics card just to play a game that's free (or to play any games at all really...) I think I might need some convincing.

Installed this (just over 4GB), on my third deathmatch I won! Very fast & fun.

If this could revive the arena shooter I will be very happy. The demise of the arena shooters in the current gaming scene has been a particular sad one to me. I have fond childhood memories of playing quake and doom at internet cafes.
