Heard a guy on 702 just now who was a student back in 2009. He said back then already they were 'negotiating' and 'debating' with the rector about how they're inherently disadvantaged because they have to sit for the exact same exam in English (which is not their mother tongue), as someone who does it in Afrikaans (which is their mother tongue).

So their suggestion back then was to compromise and let everybody just do it in English, so that the playing field is levelled out somewhat.

No movement on the topic in 7 years...

No wonder the Baffana performance is so pathetic. They leveled the playing field by only trying hard enough to compete in Africa.

But yes, I have always believed that it was a major mistake to have all of these official languages, it should have been only English.

I heard the interview also. These this do not flair up from nowhere but it is because our grievances have been ignored for so long. The present government is also guilt of trying to accommodate the white minority at our peoples expense.

In what world is the current government accommodating the white minority? And at what expense to 'your' people?
