This has been the standard pricing on PS5 for some time. At least we have game sharing for now.

Really annoyed that Gears is not on PS5, absolutely loved this game on the 360.

This came up in the general gaming thread, but it probably deserves its own discussion.

The Gears of War: E-Day Steam price is sitting around R1,300, and honestly, I am not paying that for a standard new release. I’ll wait for a sale, Game Pass, or just skip it.

But I don’t think this is only a South African pricing problem. That is part of it, sure, because ZAR pricing on Steam has definitely become rough. We are seeing more games where the local price no longer feels like proper regional pricing, and in some cases it feels like we are being priced closer to USD / EUR markets...

Love AG racing games but Redout 1 and 2 gets a bit weird with its stylised approach.

This however looks great but I am concerned there's some Star Wars story instead of just racing. True successor to the OG pod racing game:

Stronghold 4. Really looking forward to this one, been a decent period for RTS players with some great releases.

Hope its good, the original Stronghold was the first real RTS I played as a kid was amazing hopefully this delivers.

Try the Stronghold crusader remaster, it released a few months back and was a huge nostalgia hit (and a good game).

Ahh thanks will give it a go when I have time, just after covid had lots of time and couldn't find a good RTS so bought They are Billions. Awesome game, super fun but o so frustrating.

I loved They are Billions, yeah, it is such a frustrating but rewarding game. Too bad the developers abandoned it.
