Upgrade GPU or buy PS5

How many times has this sad old fake news been uttered? It's not a remaster, but a remake. With a 92% metacritic score. You can also pick up the HZD (ok, on PC now), Uncharted series, God of War etc etc etc quite cheaply and play them on PS5 for an unparalleled gaming experience.

I wasn't surprised to see all the usual xbox fanboys here frothing at the OP dropping the xbox from his options :)

Please besides the David Cage games what are the story driven games from Sony? Yes they are pretty and they are different from the Xbox ones, but what with Microsoft now owning Bethesda and snapping up more and more studios, Sony is going to end up like Nintendo where you will get some great exclusives, but that's it. Third party will always run better on Xbox. So yeah go for those exclusives, but remember you're going to be getting a sub-par third party experience.
But I think after the snore-fest of Last of Us and the same same of God of War I was like I'm done with Sony. Especially with their plan on BC being hey you want to play that PS3 game again, why not buy it again. But with my Xbox, I can play games I bought with my 360 way back in 2005 if I wanted to.

I haven't played MM, but TLOU and even GoW are story driven imo. DS isn't story driven, but it's still great.
GoW, to me, was just so good.

You can play all the Bethesda games on PC. If I have to choose between xbox/PC games at better detail and miss out on some of the best single player games, or xbox/pc games at lower quality, the choice is very, very easy.

What's a remake? Did I mention any game in there as a remaster? But that is normally Sony's way of allowing you to play their older games. TLOUS was remastered a year later for the PS4.

I literally said in the post I linked for you that I got a PS5, and my "F Sony" was in reply to someone else's comment.

He's not the Xbox crowd, he's literally going to get a PS5 when he has the funds. Me perhaps cause I tried Sony for many many years and the controller didn't gel with me and the games were meh. I did kind of enjoy the killzone series on the PS3, but kind of. Oh I liked Resistance 3.

Moral of the story, buy whichever platform you want. You are going to play it. At the end of the day nobody cares other than you. Owning a xbox and PC is an overlap, but if thats what you want to do, do it.

I personally don't like to be hamstrung on what I can play. So PC and PS5 is the plan. Right now am happy with the PC and am sure will be with the PS5 as I have always been, when I decide to get one in the near future.
 
I see Xbox GamePass mentioned but nothing about PSNow. Is PSN so shyte compared to GP..?

When I had my PS4, I looked into this. PSNow required you to be in the states, even if you wanted to download and play. I am not sure if this has changed. While there appears to be some region differences with gamepass, most of the games are still available for us to download and play.

PS Now is not in SA well not without a VPN.
Also allot of PS Now games are streaming only that really sucks if you dont have a good connection, and some install locally.
Overall PS Now have more by number but I would say lack in quality.

GamePass lets you install and play list of rotating games even when internet is down.
GamePass includes day 1 Microsoft releases. <--- Sony would kill if they do that but also lose income big time as their primary bread is game sales.

Checking out both. PS Now can compete they just have to clean up a little ie: separate stream/install games and improve in quality that is listed.

Well then this makes my decision to go Xbox much easier.
