Upgrading, And I Need Help !

what website are you checking these from, because you get about 10 versions of ASUS P5K motherboards

There is only one P5K

That is the Base model

Then there are a few high spec delux wifi premium extreme models

The then you get a few lower spec L. C. V. -MX version

Don't ask me to make sense of it. At least is is simpler than Gainward graphics card model numbers.

Wll it looks like the P5N-E SLI is basicly the same as the P5K but is made for nvidia wich is exactly what i want..

What do you guys think:

E6550
Asus P5N-E SLI
Cooler Master Extreme 550w psu

The rest i will sort out myself, except for the gfx card, will call on the forum supporters when the time comes.

Looks perfect.

I was wondering what you guys think about the Intel Dragontail board, it's pretty cheap for a P35 chipset. How are Intel's boards in general, I can't find any reviews...

This is the board im talkin about.

http://www.prophecy.co.za/asus-lga775-motherboard-support-crossfire-p-22003.html

It is the standard one. not deluxe or wi-fi and does not have onboard vga.

I prefer the P5K over the P5N-E purely because it is a new release, the spec are basicly the same but the P5K is much newer so it has to be a bit better.

That "crossfire" just bothers me, cause I know i will pe putting in a nvidia card.

Just as long as the card works perfect.

Cpu Cooler

Ok and also do you guys know of any good cpu cooolers out there ?

My friend has got an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro wich looks quite good.

Any thoughts ?
