Upgrading in 20th month?

So according to *147# my contract was due for an upgrade from 1 August 2014, so I've been psyching myself up for a new phone, which I went to get today.

But according to the rep at Cell C (and I see also according to my account on the Cell C website) it's only due for an upgrade next month. Is it still at all possible to upgrade now? I don't mind waiting the extra month, but it would be awesome if I could upgrade now!

I have the exact same issue! *147# says 10 September... Cell C shop says 10 October ... Please let me know if you could get them to upgrade you and how you got them to do it. My S3 is on its last legs like really I and need a new phone like yesterday
 
Yeah... I also had that issue, *147# is incorrect,
It's 1month early.

You basically cannot upgrade until September,
I know... I tried.. You just gota forget about it and stick the month out.

Yeah,
I had the same problem, It is very disappointing...
Just forget about it and the month will go faster. :p

You don't have to wait for the 10/10 you can do it on the 1/10

Strange, i took out the contract in Feb of last year, says im due for an upgrade on the 19-OCT-14

EDIT: Checked their website, Due Date for Upgrade : 19/11/2014 now. strange.

Chat to the Cell C rep on MyBB... I don't want to get your hopes up but the might be able to assist you as well.

Doesn't really matter, think I'm going to be moving to prepaid, since I don't know if I will stay in South Africa.
