Hi Guys

I'm struggling with a question hoping you guys could help me out.

I wanna get a 6000VA UPS for my server but i want it too last as long as possible so i know it would be cheaper to buy two 3000VA UPS's than to buy one 6000VA but i want to know which will run the longest will it run longer if i have two 3000's or with one 6000?

any help or advise would be appreciated

PS im also looking at different brands RCT, Powerman or Eaton any recomendations

Does the server have redundant psu's? If so 2x 3000va at least also means the ups's are "hot swappable" if they break.

Also depends on the ups's, server and other factors.

No it has not got a redundant psu it is the Dell PowerEdge R530 Server

VA rating is peak power, not duration.
