Uptimes? Post em!

hey guys i just wanted to see the average uptime of your Wireless connection without any disconnections etc.. thanks![;)]

Once our firewall is up, it will always be connected... right nowit's about 10 hours each day.
 
Also on firewall.

Current uptime :- 1d 0h 8m 38s

I've had uptime of 3 days, but usually switch off at night 'cos I don't have a study in my cottage, so my computer desk and firewall is in my room. Got firewall, windows box and linux box - when they are all up and running, it's impossible to sleep :)

I don't mind the continuous power supply noise from two computers (3 is too much), but my firewall HD makes those write sounds every now and then :) - I don't have case sides on the damn thing, so maybe I should put some on !

So its a race to who can get to 7 days uptime then!

longest for me was about 80 hours, just did a restart because i installed some windows updates etc

on/off downloading for those 80 hours was well over the 11 gig [:D]

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

If people had problems accessing the link, then it was because they worked on menlo (or something).

Current Uptime : 10:41:35 up 1 day, 18 min, 3 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

My best is 5 days, we seem to have a lot of power issues in our area atm, too many damn complexes going up :P
 
Before my "incident" - read complete signal loss [xx(]

5 days ;-) ... she was humming beautifully on my linux box with Ethernet cable...

If I get signal again I'm going to try the same with Rodent's drivers ;-)

I think I beat 7days, since network down I cant check logs,
I'll check tonight when I get home.

Well things were going smoothly up until yesterday, then disconnected, and the only way I could get connected was by resetting the modem (this is a 1st), same thing happened today, so I was disconnected the whole day.

But I suppose an upside is that with my dynamic dns, my dynsite says that as from 21 March, I have had 85% availability, which I think is damn good. Pity the down time is when I need it[:D]
