There is a big difference though.
For women going through a miscarriage it is a sense of loss. It was their child to be. They had unconditional love for the coming child. It was not just a fetus for them.
For those that have an abortion there is a conflict between amour de soi (Self-love) and the more maternal instinct. They may only see it as a clump of cells, but this is not in line with the signals of the body. It is this dichotomy that causes trauma woman post abortion.
We are not living in a world where people are judged for having a child out of wedlock. There already exists "morning after" pills like Ella with up to 5 day window. Mifepristone and misoprostol can be used up to 11 weeks with 98% success rate. (more if taken sooner) So yes abortions should be avoided as far as possible and definitely should not be seen as just another form of birth control. This is even more so for late term pregnancy unless it is a medical emergency. They should also promote adoption as a valid option.
