US Election 2020 - Pt 2

Yeah some people jump on the closest bandwagon without being able to do some elementary cause and effect nor come up with actual solutions.

Nearly 1,300 people died yesterday in the U.S. from Covid. That’s almost as many that have died, in total, in Germany since the outbreak began. There were also 40,000—and perhaps even 50,000—new cases yesterday in the U.S. The number of U.S. cases is trending down at the moment, which might feel like a relief, but it’s only a relief relatively speaking; it’s certainly not success. That’s a distinction that is apparently pretty clear if you’re not in the Fox News bubble.

Yes so roughly 50% of abortions were reported as not using birth control. That still leaves another 50% of abortions. And if accidental pregnancies are the issue you should focus on increasing access to birth control, rather than demonizing the women.
You can find birth control products in the middle of the Kruger park. Being able to find birth control isn't the problem.

What is the problem is that you think other people should have to pay for women to have responsibility-free sex.

rather interesting that people view usa the worst.

belgium = 856 deaths per million
usa = 604 deaths per million

belguim = 252 more deaths per million than usa

canada deaths per million = 243
in short, total usa + canada deaths per million equals that of belgium - yet somehow usa is considered the worst ?

Rather interesting that you ignore all the facts and expert opinions around the handling of the pandemic and the insanely high US death rate and focus on one, marginally relevant statistic.

we're on this merry-go-round again ?

Here's Dr Fauci:

"We are still knee-deep in the first wave of this," Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said in a Facebook and Twitter livestream Monday. "I would say, this would not be considered a wave. It was a surge, or a resurgence of infections superimposed upon a baseline ... that really never got down to where we wanted to go."

“Yeah, it is quantitatively if you look at it, it is. I mean the numbers don’t lie,” Fauci said when asked during an interview with CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta whether the U.S. had the world’s worst coronavirus outbreak.

Why would they not? You think most women just gleefully line up for abortions?

Restricting access to legal abortions applies to all women, not just the "good ones".

You complain about demonizing women, but you are very comfortable protecting people who demonize others for political opinions that don't really even matter at the end of the day.

I don't even know why you are even bothering to respond to me. I have been clear on the abortion debate. I can argue the stats back and forth. I am intimately aware of them. I still follow this industry closely, but just don't talk about it, because people get very aggressive with me when I do. The majority of abortions are morally reprehensible. The abortion industry is a cesspool. Nothing will change my mind.

Women have freedom to choose. I have the freedom to believe it's morally reprehensible. Stop being so offended.

Maybe Trump killed them too?

When those expert opinions start laying equal blame on the follow people, maybe we can have a rational debate:

  1. Other individuals who downplayed the virus when Trump was actually doing something
  2. Individuals who don't comply with social distancing and masks
  3. Individuals who are high risk and don't isolate themselves
  4. Governors for putting infecting Covid patients into nursing homes

They matter when they lead to forced sterilizations on immigrants

Progressives place woman on a pedestal. Strong independent woman can do no wrong whatsoever. Everything they do is perfect and if something happens to them, it is the fault of men.

It is all about taking agency away from woman and treating them like objects.

To a progressive like Cerberus, it is simply too much to expect woman to constrain their sexual behaviour if they cannot get access to birth control.

Yet they would never apply the same standard to a man. If a guy fathers a child that he doesn't want, he cannot tell people that society should rather focus on increasing access to birth control, rather than demonizing the man and making him pay child support.

Fauci didn’t put the blame on Trump directly in those interviews

Only women who echo their beliefs. Be a woman and go against what they believe, and you will see how those masks slip mighty fast. Old cerebus here pulled out one the most commonly used trope against women on me today.

C'est la vie.

Yes

Yes to the exact same degree

Just as the left displays rampant partisanship and demonize anybody on the Left. Just look at Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The slightest ant-Left post and you're banned.

But post a black guy sneaking up behind a white guy and hitting him over the head with a brick in the middle of an ordinary day, not a riot, with other POC snickering in the background...that's LITERALLY OK.

That is not partisanship to the nth degree?

Come on...

Quoted for truth. And those on the left know it.

They matter when they lead to forced sterilizations on illegal immigrants
Missed a tiny little word there. ICE isn't rounding up pregnant woman who enter the country on a visa.

And the situation is pretty much a perfectly sad example of perverse incentives.

Progressives like yourself and the rest of the Democrat party make big claims how you can just rock up at the US border and gain access to the lovely taxpayer healthcare system because having access to other people's money is a right. Then you are shocked when the system gets overwhelmed.

Notice in this article, the word illegal isn't even mentioned once.
https://rewire.news/article/2018/03...-attack-immigrants-detaining-pregnant-people/

Then in trying to be compassionate:
Previously, as Rewire.News reported, girls and women ages 10-to-56 were given pregnancy tests upon intake into a detention center. If they were found pregnant, ICE released them from custody within 24 hours. The complaint filed last year detailed multiple instances in which pregnancy tests issued by ICE came out as negative, though the women, who believed they were pregnant, later were found to be pregnant. Advocates said this is illustrative of the care that people in detention receive. Nevertheless, when advocacy organizations who were working directly with women in detention suspected a woman was showing signs of pregnancy, an advocate would refer her to ICE, who issued another pregnancy test. If the results were positive, she was released.

That is a textbook example of a perverse incentive. You want easy access to the US, you get knocked up and cross the border.

Sorry sweetcheeks, they have one for you as well. You are indoctrinated with the patriarchy, again the fault of men.
