It's day 1260 of the Trump presidency.

It's also the 365th day he's spent at one of his own properties - on the taxpayer dime - during his presidency.

In unrelated news, close to 20 million Americans have lost their jobs; 2,8 million Americans have a virus that 131 666 folk have died from; masks are a culture war issue and not a science issue; states that opened early are starting to reimpose restrictions; Americans are barred from travelling to Europe; an eviction crisis is unfolding; there are daily protests against police violence and Russia is paying bounties for dead American soldiers.

Also, there is no deal with NK or Iran and only three miles of new wall has been built.

YOU JUST NEED TO SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE

Isn’t this a straw man?

I don’t think anyone mistook the delta symbol As Nazi memorabilia as opposed to a colored in orange/red one which legitimately is.

Because he wasn’t asking anyone to differentiate an equation with it right?

I mean what was the point of that symbol if it wasn’t a dog whistle? It can’t be that they attached the picture on accident. Curious on your thoughts on this.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity

The point was that looking for hidden symbols that "most people won't know about" is a stupid endeavour as you can pretty much turn anything into a symbol of anything with enough creativity. It is why using a term like dog whistling is really stupid.

If you wanted a reason for it, trolling sensitive individuals would be the most likely as the majority of white nationalists would be too stupid to know about the apparent historical connotation of an upside down triangle.

Generally, people who really want to harm society will be quite happy to tell you to your face. The ANC and EFF for example have no qualms about telling people they are communists who want to seize all private property as they see nothing wrong with it. US still has broad freedom of speech. If Trump and his campaign really felt that appealing to white nationalists would be an effective tactic to win, they would tell people straight.

Fair enough, I can see how from your POV it may just be a stupid coincidence. I don’t buy it, but yeah.

I’m also aware liberals are out to find any way to tie white supremacist symbols or meanings to what these groups or Trump may say. Again I don’t think it’s an accident but I concede there is a drive by the left to reframe everything as anti-Trump. Not that he helps himself in this regard, he is such a moron lol

And the fact that it was 14 words and posted 88 times, directed at leftists, using the symbol that Nazis used to designate leftists?

They ain't liberals. Hence why I use the term progressives.

Perfect trolling IMO.
I have heard it here on this forum that it is perfectly fine to violate individual right to save the life of someone else. Like it or not, that is the "pro-life" argument.

I really hate the terms used in the abortion debate though. "Pro life" and "Pro choice" doesn't leave much room for the nuances of a complex ethical problem. Just like the mask debate, can't we decide that there is actually some space for some nuances?

Thing is he isn't doing anything to refute the idea that he's courting racists. Anyone else would have begged the nation's forgiveness for that tweet, but Trump left it up for hours then had his spokeswoman give a half apology and a lame excuse. Same with the logos, both of them. If anything the racism that was always barely concealed with Trump has just been amplified recently when he began to feel he could lose the presidency.

Rietrot flatly denied this was possible.
The solidiers were told that the weapons could not enter the capital "without clear orders and only after nonlethal options were first reviewed," according to the Associated Press,

We've been through this. Part of their standard equipment, but they didn't take it with them to do crowd control. They left it somewhere outside the capital.
