Fox News host Tucker Carlson is getting slammed on social media for an on-screen graphic that echoes a key white supremacist talking point.
With an image on the screen of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) ― both women of color born overseas ― Carlson’s text warned that “we have to fight to preserve our nation & heritage.”
Critics said the phrase looked like an homage to the infamous “14 words,” or the white supremacist slogan “we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”
Many were quick to point out the similarities on Twitter:
Fox News said they have not been hurt financially, telling the New York Times last month that the advertisers have simply moved their ads to other shows on the network.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., who lost both legs in a 2004 helicopter crash during the Iraq War, hit back at Fox News host Tucker Carlson by asking if he wanted to "walk a mile in my legs" after he suggested she and other Democratic leaders "hate America."
"You're not supposed to criticize Tammy Duckworth in any way because she served in the military," Carlson said in the opening monologue of his Monday show. "Most people just ignore her. But when Duckworth does speak in public, you're reminded of what a deeply silly and unimpressive person she is."
"These people actually hate America," he said, adding later in the show that Democratic leaders "despise this country."
Carlson was responding to comments Duckworth made Sunday in a CNN interview. Asked about the removal of statues nationwide in response to protests over racial discrimination, and the targeting of some statues of George Washington, Duckworth said, "we should start by having a national dialogue on it," adding, "but right now, we're in the middle of a global pandemic."
When pressed by CNN's Dana Bash if removing statues of Washington was a "good idea," Duckworth said, "I think we should listen to everybody," before pivoting to talk about the "greater context" in the country of the coronavirus pandemic.

This probably won't make the news for you guys but it does impact some friends of mine, and myself had this been a thing a decade ago.
Yesterday, ICE directed to have 1.1 million international students studying in the US to be ineligible to abode in the US. Since many universities have moved to online teaching due to COVID, the Trump administration decided this was the perfect time to deport these students. Luckily, Trump is against this and tweeted this:
Just kidding, that's from 2015. The man has no self awareness, shame, empathy or a backbone. He flip flops and is a walking contradiction, just like many of his supporters.
