You missed a few things about the Chinese...
1) You are trusting a government that lied about the outbreak.
2) Has no problem in doing horrible things.

In all likelihood, China is simply not reporting any new C-19 cases.

Yeah, the last country figures to trust is china
In China, only patients showing symptoms and positive results in nucleic tests are included in the official tally of confirmed cases. Asymptomatic patients who have tested positive are monitored and placed under quarantine until they develop symptoms or turn negative in later tests.

The World Health Organization, however, says in its guideline that "a person with laboratory confirmation of COVID-19 infection, irrespective of clinical signs and symptoms" should be counted as a confirmed case.

Pathetic. Not the point at all. Don't remember when this became some kind of competition between countries where second place somehow is immune from criticism or concern.

I feel that this exact type of head in the sand approach is one of the main reasons that numbers in USA are out of control right now. Well played Trumpists. I'm totally owned, you win.

The administration is still now pattering themselves on the back about how great they are instead of admitting the shortcomings and getting to work to fix the problem. The administration seems to be spending all their time and energy just defending and deflecting instead of addressing the problem directly.

Right now for sure we living in the honk honk world. Yay.
