So now we are talking about approval ratings and not the timeline? So, just like the media, you are grandstanding.

It's funny how you and all the Trump crazed haters want to hold Trump accountable, but the organisations who give the administration info (aka the CDC) to devise a response was saying late into FEBRUARY that the risk to Americans was LOW. Or do you expect the administration to somehow know more than the subject matter experts?

The CDC is a fantastic organisation and has been doing a really good job, under some trying circumstances.

Perhaps if Trump was less of a narcissistic megalomaniac and an actual leader, he could display some semblance of humility, much like Macron has done in France.

Macron has acknowledged government missteps, supply and logistic issues in response to the pandemic.

Trump is unable to acknowledge his failings and fails to acknowledge his comments that underplayed the pandemic. He literally said he takes no responsibility

By early March he claimed anyone could get a test. Is this happening? Are the numbers close to zero yet? Did he open up everything in time for Easter and have the Churches packed on Sunday?

Your comments on restaurants are far too simplistic.

A restaurant cannot offer a traditional service and maintain reasonable social distancing measures.

If you spread tables about, you have far less foot traffic and then the restaurant is trying to cover the same costs for less income.

Then all you need is for one waiter to catch it and spread it to every customer he sees over the day.

Some places in the UK have kept a takeaways service running, but some places, like McDonalds closed even that. They could not maintain a drive through without coming into close contact with the customers, so they decided on their own initiative to close.

You really should calm down. But I guess you have a lot of time on your hands and need someone to blame. You want Trump to show humility? Really? What does that accomplish? Do you think the media will portray Trump in any sort of light other than negative for anything he does? The media have also been flip flopping all over the place. So has the WHO. So has the CDC. Get a grip, man.

The Trump Administration originated a USD2 Trillion stimulus package. It got rammed through in weeks. That's a massive accomplishment, even if you don't agree with it.

Florida's Surgeon General Scott A. Rivkees was removed from state Gov. Ron DeSantis' cabinet coronavirus meeting today moments after stating that social distancing measures would need to continue until the creation of a vaccine. Video captured Rivkees' comment and his subsequent removal by DeSantis' Communications Director, Helen Aguirre Ferré.

In a video of his removal shared on Twitter, Rivkees responds to a question by stating, "So as long as we're going to have COVID[-19] in the environment, and this is a tough virus, we're going to have to practice these measures so that we are all protected."

When asked how soon he expects a vaccine to emerge, Rivkees responds, "Based on what has been reported, probably a year if not longer is what some individuals have talked about."

At this point, Ferré comes over to Rivkees and whispers a few times in his ear. Rivkees can be heard responding, "Okay," several times. The second time that Ferré comes over to Rivkees, Rivkees then rises from his chair and then is accompanied out of the room by Ferré.

Newsweek has reached out to DeSantis' office for comment. The office had not responded by the time of publication.
