Lets face it, if Biden wins, there will be another 4 years of whatabouts from all sides.

Case in point being the argument that Biden is not coherent, seems to be suffering from dementia etc. One can find Trump also saying incoherent ramblings that constitute nothing more than a random word salad. He too looks like he suffers from dementia at times.

I am not a huge fan of Biden, but hopefully, if he does win, which I still doubt, he would usher in a return to normal political and diplomatic discourse from the POTUS.

You think there is a reset button? Do you think the Republicans are going to let a Democratic president have any sort of "normal" presidency? There is now a new bar set for impeachment. This is far from over.

Perhaps the blind sycophants in the GOP will have their bubbles burst, their eyes opened and begin to think for themselves again and pull the party back to its actual values and not the ones they sold to Trump to get their tax cuts and SCOTUS seats.

The Dems are well experienced at playing the impeachment game. They faced it with Clinton.

You think TDS is bad. You should have seen the Obama years. He wore a tan suit and conservatives were frothing and clutching their pearls harder than Lumeer does when Trump burps.

Trump just mainstreamed the discourse.

But what I talking about and hoping for, is the return to the decorum and all round respect that the POTUS has generally displayed to his opponents, to other leaders and allies. This has been sorely absent and it is what I miss.

I would love for you to point out the Obama threads to me, please. I seem to have missed the multiple threads that run into thousands of pages just to discuss every detail of his presidency.

How likely do you think it is that republicans will retake the house if trump loses? I tend to think the whole trifecta is in play for Dems in November

No idea. Covid 19 is the biggest ally for the Democrats. Like I said, the Democrats didn't have a flying chance in hell. Now, I am not so sure.

A Biden presidency would be glorious to behold.

Which just demonstrates how pathetic the Democrats are. Even with everything that has happened (and years worth of investigations), they couldn't muster impeachment articles with proof of any criminality in them.

The Obamas and Clintons have been the victims of the most vile conspiracy theories by the far right media: Barack isn't really American, Michelle is actually a man, Barack is a gay drug addict, Hillary killed Epstein, Bill used child prostitutes, Bill is dying, etc.

In my world a 50% or halfway result is piss poor. But, in today's age of participation awards, I can see why you need to tell yourself this.
