Gosh the markets are farked, just caught up on the happenings. Jse in it's moer too. Wanted to dump my unit trusts a few weeks back and didn't

It's going to be interesting to how Trump responds to this.

Now would be the time for him to push building those border walls to protect god fearing americans from those fearful foreign viruses.

How so?

Most of the British colonies have inherited these fptp systems, and have had the same one party system for ages. Noone can break in because they have to win a whole province to get representation. So even if they get 49.9%, and the other guy gets 51.1% ....it counts as zero.

It gets worse as more parties get involved, as you can get someone with less than 30% winning everything. What of the other 70 odd percent? Votes down the drain

I think the US is a key example of that....for now.
But it's not like there was a lot of choice, was there. FPTP leads to that lack of choice quicker than any other system

It's a difficult square for them to circle, because with an EC or FPTP electorates in SA the ANC would have even more seats.

The market dropped 9.99% today. Only two days in 1929 and Black Monday in October '87 had worse percentage drops. Winning!

The market dropped 2352 points today. The biggest point drop in Wall Street history. Winning!

When Donnie walked into the WH for the first time, the market was at 19840; three years into his "great economy" and it closed at 21200 today... A 1400 point drop tomorrow and every gain since 2016 will be wiped out.
