Dude is a full blown cultist, seemingly. Trump can literally do no wrong. Incredible, really.

It's blatantly obvious the market was reacting to Trump's actions, not just the general coming downturn (which would have been there anyway, as everywhere).

It's because Trump kept treating it like a PR problem, instead of as a 'not addressing the virus' problem.

And yeah, the blatant, insane and dangerous lies, which is once again just accepted as normal, were shocking. Not surprising at all, obviously, but shocking nonetheless.
