I can't look into his dead fishy eyes, something about him gives me the creeps

ROFL , that is insane funny.

That's it, all rock groups are "never Trumpers", along with every news agency from the far left to the right.

Mr. Lee telling it to Orangutanman.

You, you, YOU — the guy who looks like a Christmas haggis inexplicably brought to life by Frosty’s magic hat.

It’s unconstitutional to bail out churches, FFRF and others remind senator

American Atheists, Center for Inquiry, Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) and Secular Coalition for America are correcting Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley’s tweeted claim that “the SBA [Small Business Administration] is WRONGLY telling churches and lenders that churches and religious nonprofits don’t qualify for the new #COVID19 relief program.”

“Sen. Hawley could not be more mistaken,” says Alison Gill, Vice President for Legal and Policy at American Atheists. “He should review the guidance we provided to SBA to better understand how key constitutional principles like church-state separation apply to this legislation.”

On Tuesday, March 31, a group of eight civil rights and religious freedom organizations sent a letter to SBA urging the agency to respect existing regulations and the Constitution.

“Taxpayers cannot be forced to fund churches, even in a pandemic,” comments FFRF Director of Strategic Response Andrew L. Seidel. “The Small Business Administration must include some constitutional protections in its coming emergency regulations to implement the CARES Act to ensure that American taxpayers will not be footing the bill for church mortgages and preachers’ salaries.”

Why do Republicans hate the US Constitution?

Because both parties wanted a way for taxpayers to bail out their favourite non-profits.

The bill says that nonprofits with fewer than 500 employees can receive loans. But the SBA gets to rule on whether any of the dozens of individual Planned Parenthood affiliates scattered around the country should be counted by themselves or as a whole, according to experts who reviewed the bill.

Legally a church is in the same category as planned parenthood as they are both non-profits, which means that if you want that sweet sweet taxpayer money to bailout abortion providers, it also has to bailout qualifying churches as well.

I would have a simpler rule TBH, no tax, no bailout. (This would probably eliminate most airlines in the US as most of them run at a loss :p)

Actually I would have an even simpler rule: no bailouts for any organisation.

My prediction: Dr Birx won't be part of the White House briefing tonight. The reason: she interrupted Trump when he spoke during last night's briefing. Actually, he interrupted her, but she continued to speak. I could see that Trump was not pleased. He is the chief in the room, and others will be quiet when he speaks. Also, he doesn't like experts; that's why Rex Tillerson called Trump an idiot: he dismissed the advice from military experts on Afghanistan, because they were experts.

Farking shameful - Trump claims he doesn't agree with this, but who believes him, he more likely commanded it.

Ooo a conspiracy, I thought the left disliked conspiracies. But when to comes to Trump the left lose their minds to all kinds of tall tales....

Randhir reading the above: Does not compute. Republican bad, Democrat good. Democrat bad does not compute.
