And Trump is not working under trying circumstances?

You really should calm down. But I guess you have a lot of time on your hands and need someone to blame. You want Trump to show humility? Really? What does that accomplish? Do you think the media will portray Trump in any sort of light other than negative for anything he does? The media have also been flip flopping all over the place. So has the WHO. So has the CDC. Get a grip, man.

The Trump Administration originated a USD2 Trillion stimulus package. It got rammed through in weeks. That's a massive accomplishment, even if you don't agree with it.

Cool beans.

I am pretty calm unlike you it seems. You seem quite angry (lol at Get a grip, man)

Anyway unlike 95% of the world I am working as normal, driving around empty highways, working outdoors as I have always done. In actual fact despite having to cover a few more bases because people are sick, I have actually enjoyed this time, with the quite roads, lack of queues and so forth.

So I don't need to blame anyone. Serves me no purpose. I don't live in the USA. What I can do is highlight actual words used by Trump an question the rationality of his statements that were made in the climate of uncertainty in which we all find ourselves.

The bipartisan stimulus package was a great achievement and I am very happy it went through. I have a few friends in the USA that will be desperate for this, so it is good.

It still does not absolve Trump for his missteps, his failures and how he downplayed it, while the CDC was highlighting the severity of it.

Trump's over eagerness to paint everything in the light of "Wow look at me and the perfect job I am doing, it is always sunshine and roses with me" is why he ends up having to flip flop. If he could begin to practice some honesty that would be a good start and while he is at it, some humility instead of narcissism.

Who funds The Federalist? Seriously, who?

Do those people funding the Federalist have the ability to magically alter foot notes on government documents?

Nice deflection though.

Maybe I should get this for your Greggypants.

And who reads it? Only the best people...

Why Alabamians Should Vote For Roy Moore
I have a 14-year-old daughter. If I caught Roy Moore doing what was alleged, for starters I would kick him where it counts. That said, I don’t think it’s wrong to vote for Moore.

I am going to argue for the very unpopular, even shocking, view that, even if Roy Moore did what he is accused of doing, Alabamans are within their rights to vote for him, and they shouldn’t let Democrats and Never Trumpers shame them into not voting.

Here is one thing we know and should admit from the start: in his early thirties, Moore had a penchant for dating teenagers. Apparently, this was not an uncommon occurrence during this time. In fact, this practice has a long history and is not without some merit if one wants to raise a large family.

Why do Conservatives love pedos so much?

Trump needs to bend the knee.

So now we are talking about approval ratings and not the timeline? So, just like the media, you are grandstanding.

It's funny how you and all the Trump crazed haters want to hold Trump accountable, but the organisations who give the administration info (aka the CDC) to devise a response was saying late into FEBRUARY that the risk to Americans was LOW. Or do you expect the administration to somehow know more than the subject matter experts?

But Trump is supposed to be the greatest president ever, so we expect the best from him.

Any person who was watching China's response to coronavirus back in January, should have appreciated the gravity of the situation. Why did Trump only wake up in March? It's because that's when the markets tanked.

Your comments on restaurants are far too simplistic.

A restaurant cannot offer a traditional service and maintain reasonable social distancing measures.

If you spread tables about, you have far less foot traffic and then the restaurant is trying to cover the same costs for less income.

Then all you need is for one waiter to catch it and spread it to every customer he sees over the day.

Some places in the UK have kept a takeaways service running, but some places, like McDonalds closed even that. They could not maintain a drive through without coming into close contact with the customers, so they decided on their own initiative to close.
The risk profile of a waiter is no different than the risk profile of a cashier at a supermarket. Probably less, since waiters work in the food industry and actually have to be presentable probably wash their hands far more than the average cashier at a supermarket. Same thing for things like drive-through.

And my comments are to actually let the people who do know about this stuff and have a vested interest in it, decide for themselves. I don't claim to know the innings-and-outings of the entire supply chain unlike the beloved and kind masters in government.

A health alert for the Trumpettes, boot polish is carcinogenic.

The Orange Snollygoster lost it yesterday, just can't handle the fact that he cant make the reporters bow before him like the WH staff do.

An unchained presidential tantrum

Trump rages at criticism while governors craft their own plans to reopen the economy

Trump rages at reporters during coronavirus briefing over critical coverage of his response to pandemic

You know I already posted that article on the previous page, right?

Of course you would. Just as you'd ignore the crushing of civil liberties that Trump is OK with too. Weird how you guys never comment on those hey?
Like what exactly?

The US government does plenty of nasty things, but as far as I can tell, the US has been mostly restrained in dealing with this. More so than in Britbongistan where the police are spying on people doing the dangerous thing of walking in a nature reserve and breaking down people's doors because the neighbourhood Karen thought the neighbours were having a party.
