Um you also realize that a lot of Republicans live in Democrat states and a lot of Democrats live in Republican states? Regardless that isn't the point I'm trying to make.

I'm not even talking about political parties or police or institutions. I'm talking about simple people. Some people are desperately trying to get a message across and expect that message to be addressed and they are getting fed up that another group of people are actively denying and silencing that message.

So some people have an opinion that is demonstratebly and objectively wrong, but they are so emotionally invested in that opinion that if people call them out on their BS or just don't agree they need to get angry and burn stuff down.

Hey now slow your roll there big boy a mod could well have independently removed it based on their own judgement which is fine. We'll never know.

Of course I also acknowledge you point that NOTHING these folks argue is in good faith. Literally nothing.

Trumpists: Biden is bad, look at how corrupt he was in Ukraine
Also Trumpits: So what if Trump is corrupt, all politicians are corrupt, what do you expect

Take any issue or criticism of Trump and you get the same pattern.

As I was trying to hint earlier, eventually the average person is going to get fed up beyond a point of civility. But I suspect that that is exactly what these folks actually want to happen.

Yep I agree, and I did. I can acknowledge that my original wording was pushing it a bit too far and could certainly be considered trolling. So I simply re-framed and had okaish discussion with Rietie as a consequence.

  • Two men kissing
  • Black woman graduating college
  • Black man as CEO of a company
  • A wind farm
  • Muslim woman elected to office ;)
  • A black family moving into a very nice upmarket house
  • etc
But that would be off topic and trolling. But you and I know that would make the conservative tears flow.

Literally nobody gets upset by any of those things.

I like black people being successful, graduating college and being CEO of a company.
That literally means they won't be out committing crimes and they would have less children.
