If he knows the numbers and tweets this ahead of the Council of Economic Advisers releasing 'em, it's market manipulation. End of story.

He definitely tipped off the market. The chances of him 'looking forward' to seeing the numbers if they were going to be bad are absolutely zero.

It was a very nice letter from Kim Jong-Un - Donald J Trump at 21:44
I haven't opened the letter yet - Also Donald J Trump but at 21:52

So, less "summit" and more photo op with theatrics and pageantry then...

https://slate.com/news-and-politics...ties-to-convicted-pedophile-george-nader.html

The NBC report is only the latest to suggest that George Nader, who is reportedly now cooperating with Robert Mueller’s investigation, once had very high-level access to the Trump White House.

Here’s the other thing about George Nader: He was convicted of child pornography charges in Virginia in 1991 and of sexually abusing minors in the Czech Republic in 2003.

I'm sure it's all part of Q's plan

Traditionally no one comments on the job numbers before... and... even for the first hour *after* the numbers are released in order for the market to digest the info and settle by itself, but you know, whatever.

I hear Spar has a special on Windowlene... The inside of your bubble needs some cleaning and the good news is, you have a whole weekend off to do it.

They've admitted Kudlow told him the numbers the previous evening.

What are the odds he didn't phone some of his billionaire buddies so they could do some insider trading? ;)

Good thread on why it's bad and illegal.

Should have gone with that from the start. As there was nothing wrong with him meeting the Russians if he did.

:crylaugh: That's why they keep trying to cover **** up, because there's nothing wrong with it :crylaugh:

What? These guys? Clean as a whistle.

Asked about shifting explanations for statement on Trump Tower meeting, Rudy Giuliani tells @GStephanopoulos:

"This is the reason you don't let the president testify. Our recollection keeps changing, or we're not even asked a question and somebody makes an assumption."

The actual way their story has changed on the meeting.

- There was no meeting
- There was a meeting, but about adoption
- Meeting wasn’t about adoption
- Nothing was offered
- Something was offered, wasn’t any good
- What was offered wasn’t taken
- Let’s say something was taken, so what?
- Memories keep changing, so can’t answer

They would have been out on the streets demanding Obama or Hillary be impeached immediately.

Not to mention that Trump is once again very wrong on this matter.

From the DOJ's memorandum on this.

https://www.justice.gov/sites/default/files/olc/opinions/1974/08/31/op-olc-supp-v001-p0370_0.pdf

“Under the fundamental rule that no one may be a judge in his own case, the President cannot pardon himself.”

Muh free market.

Trump Is Preparing to Prop Up Unprofitable Coal Plants With ‘Emergency’ Subsidies

President Donald Trump ordered his energy secretary to take immediate action to stem power plant closures, arguing that a decline in coal and nuclear electricity is putting the nation’s security at risk.

..

Trump administration officials are making plans to order grid operators to buy electricity from struggling coal and nuclear plants in an effort to extend their life, a move that could represent an unprecedented intervention into U.S. energy markets.

Things going well for Manafort.

Mueller Accuses Paul Manafort of Attempted Witness Tampering

Federal prosecutors on Monday accused President Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, of attempting to tamper with witnesses in his federal tax and lobbying case.

In court documents, prosecutors working for the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, said that Mr. Manafort tried to contact witnesses by phone and through an encrypted messaging program.

Prosecutors said that was a violation of Mr. Manafort’s release while he awaits trial. They asked a federal judge to revise the terms of his release or revoke it entirely, which would send him to jail until trial.

An F.B.I. agent, Brock W. Domin, wrote in court documents that at least one witness reported Mr. Manafort’s contact and said that he appeared to be trying to coach their story about Mr. Manafort’s lobbying practices.

Meanwhile, in the US under the Evil Lord Donald Trump and his plan to oppress all black people and woman:

Gross domestic product increased at a 2.2 percent annual rate, the Commerce Department said in its second estimate of first-quarter GDP on Wednesday, instead of the previously reported 2.3 percent pace. The economy grew at a 2.9 percent rate in the fourth quarter.

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (3.5 percent), Blacks (5.9 percent), and Asians (2.1 percent) decreased in May. The jobless rates for adult women (3.3 percent), teenagers (12.8 percent), Whites (3.5 percent), and Hispanics (4.9 percent) changed little over the month.
