Please post examples where a criminal behaviour entitles someone to be with their children. The only exception I know is with pregnant woman and newborns.

Note the term resident.

Leviticus 19:9-10 and 23:22 – Moses gives God’s law: “You shall not strip your vineyards bare…leave them for the poor and the alien.”

And Citizens of a country are expected to obey the law of said country. And the law of said country includes restricting who can come in.

Just remember, when the US does any sort of border control it is horrible and evil, but if Canada does it to protect their cushy welfare system, all is good eh?
