It's due process. Afforded to all, citizens and non-citizens alike. Of course, as you said, the US hasn't really cared that much and will ignore it to get what they want done.

The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!

What a fruitcake. Then there's the Starburst incident.

As the photo shows, their arguments were not warmly received, but Trump did eventually agree to join the other G7 nations in signing the communique. Bremmer describes what happened next: “He stood up, he put his hand in his suit jacket pocket and he took two Starburst candies out, threw them on the table, and said to Merkel, ‘Here, Angela, don’t say I never gave you anything.’”

Eisbein with client done and normal whiling the day away on internet forums services have resumed.

I specifically follow folk on Twitter who post links to the right references when other Twitter users post about things like suspending due process. In this case, Norm Eisen who was WH special counsel for ethics, and Laurence Tribe who is a Harvard Law professor. It helps if they do it on a quiet Sunday so you have time to read...

Oh, those Supreme Court cases:

Zadydas v. Davis ("due process" of the 14th Amendment applies to all aliens in the United States whose presence maybe or is "unlawful, involuntary or transitory.")
Plyler v. Doe (illegal aliens/... may claim the benefit of the Equal Protection clause which provides that no state shall 'deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.')

and which religious beliefs of the restaurateurs in this case would be challenged by Sanders' presence? yip, none again

Other way around (no pun intended). One specific bakery didn't want to serve a gay couple because of religious beliefs.

So you're saying they will serve gay couples but just not that gay couple? Or are you saying words are more important than actions and just because they didn't explicitly say it, its all ok.

Out of all the things that have gone on in this thread, curious that you think this comes close to fascism.
