Trump says he meant to say in Helsinki that he saw no reason why it would not be Russia that interfered in elections.

Yah I don’t see him getting impeached. Process takes too long and the clout lays with republicans. I reckon it’s easier for the ANC to lose support in SA than republicans removing Trump or losing significant support.

I think we in SA will find it amusing that in the US they have the same issues we had with Zuma but their support base is more staunch.

1 It is better to be friendly with Russia, nobody wants another world war. If you know a bit of history you'll realise that Russia has always fought on the correct or allied side. Now that their communist experiment is mostly over we can move on from 1970.
2 Everybody has their nose in everybody else's business when it comes to international affairs. Trump is intelligent enough to not be a complete hypocrite like the lefties pretending to be shocked that someone was caught trying to influence an election. Obama openly tried to influence Brexit.

The thing is Republicans currently dont want to impeach him either and they will overlook whatever he does as long as hes passing their agenda. Only evidence of direct collusion (unlikely) would impeach Trump, so hes probably here to stay.

Well he's evolved in his flip flops, first he accused Putin and Russia of not respecting the US. That's right until the Miss Universe went to Russia and he started singing a different tune (maybe it was all the hookers they supplied him). He also promised to strengthen America's nuclear arsenal as a response to Russia. Suppose it is hard to know where he stands given his habit of switching positions.

It's only hard if you try too hard purposefully too misrepresent things.
I suggest you stop reading/watching CNN. That might make things easier.
