Any time Ed.

What you are unwillingly to grasp is that if there is any blow back to releasing unredacted material the FBI needs to be able to point to the fact that they suggested certain things should have been redacted. Nothing there to suggest treason and your frothing at the mouth.

You're unwilling to grasp simple direct instructions are just that, if there is blowback that compromises sources they'd be jizzing their pants to release given Trump's instruction, it will finally let them hang something on him.

The fact that they're not jumping at the opportunity tells you their so-called concerns are a ruse, they're trying to cover their asses.

But you keep gnawing at your hind leg Ed, all good in the echo chamber.

Don't know if any of you have read this, but it is a very good analysis of the economic reasoning behind Trump's tarrifs:

But to call Lighthizer a “prophet of protectionism,” as some have, gives the false impression of an underlying drive for U.S. autarky, self-sufficiency, or withdrawal from global markets. Nothing could be further from the truth. Lighthizer speaks openly in favor of free trade, comparative advantage, and what he calls simply “economics.” “The basic philosophy that we have is that we want free trade without barriers,” Lighthizer explained to Congress at the July 26 hearing. He said that the Trump administration “wants to get to the position where the U.S. is competing with countries on a bilateral basis and on a no-barrier basis, and then let the United States, let pure economics make the decision.

Trump admin moves $260M from cancer research, HIV/AIDS and other programs to cover custody of immigrant children costs

The Trump administration is planning to shift more than $260 million to cover the rising cost and strain of housing thousands of undocumented immigrant children in their custody -- including millions of dollars from programs like cancer research and HIV/AIDS prevention.
The request comes as the program has been strained by record-high levels of children in custody, driven in large part by new policies that are holding kids longer and making it more difficult for them to be released to adults, such as family members.
It also comes amid news that the Department of Health and Human Services once again could not locate 1,500 children it had released over a three-month period.

Conservatards, the party of family and christian values could choose either:
a) research a cure for cancer
b) keep kids locked away from their parents

....and they went with b.

You are obfuscating the issue at hand, and using ad hominem arguments. What does Trump or climate change have anything to do with this at all? There is verifiable proof of Trump's divisiveness, his lack of policy understanding, and that climate change is a thing. And believing a man is entitled to the right to a fair trial puts me on the right? I am not a guy either.

Kavanaugh should be impeached for lying to the Senate. However, the Democrats have turned this issue into a political circus and at the actual expense of the "victim". Senator Feinstein's strategy on this was despicable, but you chose to ignore that fact and instead say: "Oh, but Trump!!!$#one!". Here we have a she said, he said situation. There is no way to take this matter forward legally in any way. There is zero to investigate either. Making accusations does not make a man guilty. There is absolutely no way to prove either case.

What are you on about? I was referring to the clear double standard you're using for AOC, not Kavanaugh.

But anyway, Feinstein referred it to the FBI, she's not the one trying to put on a sham hearing. And I understand the accuser's reluctance to commit to anything with these scumbags because the GOP committee staff already said they're unfazed and will confirm him regardless, as did GOP Sen. Heller. They also refuse to talk to anyone besides Kavanaugh and Blasey-Ford, despite multiple people being important, including Mark Judge. Of course there are things to investigate.

Mitch McConnell also warned Trump before the nomination that Kavanaugh might be the hardest to confirm from the list they outsourced to a conservative judicial activist group, likely because he knew about this, and also because of the mountain of documentation out there that needs to be vetted.

The only people acting despicably here are the GOP who are trying to ram this confirmation (for a life time position) through, with very little vetting, for no reason other than stacking the Supreme Court with conservative activist judges that will rubber stamp their policies. They've released barely 4% of the relevant documentation, and even that has revealed some disturbing information, which of course, they refuse to investigate further.

I see economic anxiety is harsh for millionaires in Florida, too.

New racial controversy batters DeSantis

This is the fifth race-related issue concerning the Florida candidate, his gubernatorial campaign or one of its supporters.

A Republican activist who donated more than $20,000 to Ron DeSantis and lined up a speech for him at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club recently called President Barack Obama a “F---- MUSLIM N----” on Twitter, in addition to making other inflammatory remarks.

And then he pulls a Michael Scott:

Alembik, a self-employed data and email services provider in Boca Raton who has had some Republican campaign clients, said it was unfair to call DeSantis a racist. Alembik, who has contributed $22,920 over the years to DeSantis, said there is a double standard when it comes to using the N-word.

“So somebody like Chris Rock can get up onstage and use the word and there’s no problem? But some white guy says it and he’s a racist? Really?” the 67-year-old Alembik said.

Considering the almost 13k kids being housed, only 400 are seperated from parents... the rest(12k+) are all parentless solo border jumpers(5k of which came over in august)... the decision is to house, feed and cloth em, which somehow, libtards see as a 'bad thing'.... (which had this been a libtard doing it, would be praised for their selfless humanitarian good will and all that fluff). Sure the system has its flaws and gets clogged waiting for foster parents etc, but the sheer volume of kids making the trek alone is on the rise, money has to come from somewhere to feed them... (thought the libtards were all into the gief free **** **** so not sure what the complaint is)
I take it the libtards have a better plan? Leave em on the streets to fend for themselves? Send em back to where they came from?

I mean, a solution would be stop implementing more and more shitty policies, but apparently that doesn't even cross a conservatard's mind, even when it's even in the original post.

Likewise, the average length of stay in custody is rapidly climbing. According to annual reports to Congress, in fiscal year 2016, the average length of stay had been brought down to 35 days by the Obama administration. The average in 2017 went up to 48 days.
Today, that average is up to 59 days, according to HHS spokesman Kenneth Wolfe. And that counts only children who have already left, experts point out, making it impossible to know how long some kids have been waiting.

But yeah, totally a complete mystery...

You mean, a policy that makes sure those who take the kids are capable of caring for them? Making sure they are legal citizens themselves? Making sure they aren't for example human trafficers etc just randomly claiming kids? Oh the horror, absolutely horrid stuff this. How dare anyone think of doing thorough checks on the adults applying to take them to make sure the kids aren't sold as sex slaves.

Of course days have increase... kids entering has doubled in august alone, system is overloaded, they need more cash to expand it... thus, shifting the funds. You said they went with b. keep kids locked away from their parents.... 400. So, 400 are given to parents right now. Now what? Nothing changes, still have 12.5k that need to be housed, clothed and fed, still need to find homes for them, hopefully some may have family that can be tracked down, but that alone is a nightmare.

Sounds great.

A+.
Indeed A+ The problem still has nothing to do with your 'they chose b'... just another 'any reason to bitch about trump/us gov' comment

I recall reading volunteers now helping out to try process faster, but still, its **** tons of kids coming in, and **** tons of man hours. Perhaps the libtards bitching on twittard everytime trump posts something can spend some of that valuable time helping out?:whistling: Anyway, its simple math, more resources are needed, money has to come from somewhere. Unless of course you have a better solution than feeding, clothing and housing them until homes can be found?

So why'd the Trump admin can a project that had a 99% success rate at getting people to show up for their hearings, so you don't have to lock people up that pose no threat?

Illegal border crossings were at a 46 year low, and now it's a 'crisis'? Seems what Trump's doing is terribly uneffective, whoda thunk it.

‘Not relevant:’ Franklin Graham weighs in on Kavanaugh sexual assault accusations

Evangelist Franklin Graham said sexual assault accusations against U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh from when he was a teenager are “not relevant” and that the U.S. Senate should confirm his nomination.

Asked by the CBN interviewer what kind of message his remarks send to sexual abuse victims, Graham replied: “Well, there wasn’t a crime that was committed. These are two teenagers and it’s obvious that she said no and he respected it and walked away.

But wait, I thought it didn't happen?

And no, that's not at all "obvious" from what they've claimed, either.

46year low... now its up, you're right, Trumps fault so many are suddenly trying to get in... He must be doing something very effective that so many see US as their beacon of hope and opportunity for a better life again:whistling:

On a serious note... they do need to like x6 there current processing teams to get ahead of the sudden influx of kids. Its just going to get higher and higher over the next year few years(to a point they'll run out of fosters?)... but they aren't sending em packing, they're just kids, yes it can take 2 months, but they have a full stomach, clothes on their backs and a warm place to rest their heads, the alternative an empty stomach sleeping in the gutter or under a bush. Must have quite a kak life and some serious balls for an 8y/o to say f this, and trek 100's of kms solo to cross the border.

If we needed another reminder about how seriously good ol' Christian conservatives apparently take sexual assault.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-ralph-norman-sexual-assault-joke/1370699002/

Republican Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina joked about sexual assault and the Supreme Court during an election debate in his district on Thursday, according to a story in The Post and Courier of Charleston.

"Did y’all hear this latest late-breaking news on the Kavanaugh hearings?" Norman said, according to the paper. "Ruth Bader Ginsburg came out saying she was groped by Abraham Lincoln."
