Because nobody has ever been falsely accused of rape ...
Very well, continue to live in your bubble, continue to believe anyone who makes an accusation is being truthful, that how the real world works after all ...

You must be new to this conversation where I’ve said I’d be calling for due process.

No less new than you are to the notion that in this case the odds are due process won't be able to prove or disprove anything.

Sure. It’s a he said, she said kinda thing...

No, wait. It’s a he said, she said, she said, she said kinda thing. My bad.

and yet you maintain you'd welcome an investigation if it was you ... BS

the second she just turned out to be a Soros Fellowship recipient from way back btw, totally random accuser

I'm actually watching what Kav does. Sure, I'd call for an investigation if I was innocent and if he is, he would too.

Nothing yet...

Still nothing...

Still nothing...

DEMOCRATS HAVE A 12 POINT LEAD OVER REPUBLICANS AS MIDTERMS APPROACH, POLL SAYS

A recent poll conducted by NBC News and The Wall Street Journal signaled that the midterm elections could pose trouble for Republicans and President Donald Trump.

The poll, taken between September 16 and September 19, found that Democrats are leading Republicans in congressional preference by 12 points. Sixty percent of people polled also wanted to see a significant change in direction from the one President Donald Trump has been taking.

Wait the paragraph before is even better. Same old Democratic playbook. It's so transparent.

And then there's this totally exonerating paragraph...

A classmate of Ramirez’s, who declined to be identified because of the partisan battle over Kavanaugh’s nomination, said that another student told him about the incident either on the night of the party or in the next day or two. The classmate said that he is “one-hundred-per-cent sure” that he was told at the time that Kavanaugh was the student who exposed himself to Ramirez. He independently recalled many of the same details offered by Ramirez, including that a male student had encouraged Kavanaugh as he exposed himself. The classmate, like Ramirez, recalled that the party took place in a common room on the first floor in Entryway B of Lawrance Hall, during their freshman year. “I’ve known this all along,” he said. “It’s been on my mind all these years when his name came up. It was a big deal.” The story stayed with him, he said, because it was disturbing and seemed outside the bounds of typically acceptable behavior, even during heavy drinking at parties on campus. The classmate said that he had been shocked, but not necessarily surprised, because the social group to which Kavanaugh belonged often drank to excess. He recalled Kavanaugh as “relatively shy” until he drank, at which point he said that Kavanaugh could become “aggressive and even belligerent.”

I love how Kav has a detailed calendar from 1983 that shows every party he ever went to.

Soooooo convenient. I am glad that this is normal behaviour.

Clinton will win and a Blue wave is coming ~ MSM

Well then, there's nothing for it but for you to fire up the Facebook machine and tell all your friends who live in the States not to even bother voting in November. It's all MSM fake news anyway.
They should rather stay home, watch Fox, reverse mortgage their houses and buy catheters and CPAP machine cleaners.

Off you go...

Republicans should not waste time investigating these Kavanaugh accusations, rather go back and try to find that elusive Ben Ghazi.

and yet you maintain you'd welcome an investigation if it was you ... BS

Politics is a dirty game. He should have known that indiscretions or rumours of indiscretions would come back to haunt him. This isn't about justice or even about whether he is guilty or innocent it's about who is going to win this particular political battle.
If he did do what he is accused of doing, if his attitude hasn't changed in the intervening period it may affect his rulings in cases involving sexual misconduct. I however can't tell by the story if it was just a drunk kid exposing himself at a party the way some women would flash their breasts or if it was a deliberate sexual assault as she describes.

And then there's this totally exonerating paragraph...

I'd go with the majority of people in this case. Also aren't alarm bells ringing that she herself admits she was inebriated at the time? This is even weaker than the Ford case, where the guy she claimed was in the room at the time of alleged assault does not recall the event happening.

I'd go with the majority of people in this case.

You'd go with whatever position suits your narrative. When Al Franken was being accused of harassment the exact same people on this forum were calling for his blood with basically the same evidence. And he did resign, which was the right thing to do.

Also aren't alarm bells ringing that she herself admits she was inebriated at the time? This is even weaker than the Ford case, where the guy she claimed was in the room at the time of alleged assault does not recall the event happening.

It's incredible how many people accused of being an inciting witness to sexual assault develop post hoc amnesia.

So all this is because the NY Times ran a story with a dubious source about Rosenstein joking about the 25th amendment?

If so, pretty ironic that the NY Times would be the publication to provide such critical ammunition to the Trump mob.

I said the NYT thing had Bill Shine all over it. Pretty sure it's a "in case of emergency, break glass" plan to provide cover for a Rosenstein firing and/or distract from the Kav confirmation.

That said, as the day goes on, it looks like a firing or resignation seem less and less likely... I think Axios might have had some of that NYT Kool-Aid too.

EDIT: And Sarah Slanders just put out a statement saying nothing to see here, Rod and Donnie Treason have a meeting Thursday to discuss the NYT article.
DOUBLE EDIT: Thursday, right around the time Dr Ford testifies I presume. Obvious smoke and mirrors are obvious.
