Jeez, that escalated quickly. I didnt say he was lying, perhaps he believes what he is saying, I dont know. I was just pointing out that the DHS has labeled right wing extremism the biggest threat to the US. Most of the "antifa" Ive seen seem to be astroturfed anarchists or the right wing pretending to be "antifa". Its really more a right wing talking point than a reality (I will change my opinion on this when FBI and DHS etc change theirs, but this is how it stands atm).

If the mayor is having to deal with violence then hopefully he uses the correct and legal approach to dealing with violence. One that doesnt bring up more cries about police brutality from the public. I think Portland are getting tired of living in what must feel like a police state at this point.

The FBI said that the Biden laptop was real and not Russian disinfo. You didn't believe that.

Yes, the one that Giuliano turned in to the FBI, that the FBI confirmed as existing and said was not Russian disinfo, despite leftist news sites saying it was, and then did nothing with it.

Not sure why "wut". The sentence is pretty straight forward. You like to use sources or authority, like the FBI, when it benefits your position.

A bit of a habit of mine. When I am sick, I got to a doctor. When I need my car fixed I take it to a mechanic. If I want to know about biology I speak to a biologist. If I want to know whats going on with security in the US I try listen to as many of the intelligence services I am aware of there. I am not there, I dont have access to the same data they have. No ways I could have a more informed opinion than them. Same with you, they are more informed than you on this topic.

I understand "appeal to authority" is a logical fallacy, but in a world so full of disinformation you sometimes got to listen to those "authorities". Unless they give you reasons not to, or you have access to better intelligence.

What they say has been kinda backed up by the media and academics as well, with only a small percentage of BLM protests have been violent.

FYI, kinda surprised at this anarchical resistance you have to the authorities.

Ted Wheeler knew Trump was right from the start. But it was election time and it is the trendy thing to do to hate Trump and ignore "protests" and peaceful violent riots.

Hell even his main rival who challenged him to become mayor of Portland alligned herself with antifa and declared "I am Antifa". Imagine Antifa becoming mayor of Antifaland aka Portland

But don't recall a single BLM member or Antiftard getting nicked for the 100's of American flags they've burnt? And minimal arrests for the 100's of millions of dollars worth of property damage during all the "peaceful" protests?

No surprise that the truth is, a BLM women attacked a non-violent women, and then patriots tried to defend her from being pepper-sprayed by police who were protecting the BLM attacker.
