Usage inaccurate

/me thinks Jannie is reading all this and says "bloodly clowns, what the hell are they thinking, cause I know it's broken and they dont know how to fix it"

I think iBurst need to get a sangoma for their bandwidth report systems.
My suspicion is around the migration to new packages and their new systems, iBoss - they should have had iCustomer first.

I mean the systems is barely 6 months and now they want to do package migration on it, my fellow white friends will say WTF, i really don't know what it means but it sounds relevant.

If some community is not attending meetings with him about the iBurst tower caused sickness only known to them and their doctors, how come he doesn't have time to meet with the man from Krugersdorp?

Just get all the information and the people you have spoken to and I think Bra Paris can listen.

MyBB has being a great tool and I hope they can expose these kind of extortion

Please ignore the usage on our website it is incorrect our system engineers are working on it.

I will let you know as soon as it is fixed.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Good to finally have some official, public confirmation of the problem. I'll get my missing ~2.3GB back then?

WoW - nearly fell of my chair.

Now my questions:
When will be when will they let us know?
What if your capped incorrectly?
Why not send out communications out to your clients?
Why not put it on your website as an incident?

Let's see if I will get an answer this week

Your data usage for this month
Description Data (MB)
Downloaded 2473.55 MB
Uploaded 533.28 MB
Total 3006.83 MB
Remaining 8190.97 MB
Purchased 0.0
Carried over 0.0

Been migrated at least. Still waiting for the usage to be fixed, though. I'd think it would take higher priority than the migration at this stage...

I still haven't been migrated.

I still haven't been capped.

My data still hasn't moved.

50MB actual usage translating to a ~180MB remaining drop. Hmmm....

So it's still broken?

Are they still working on the problem or has it been said that it was resolved?

It's been radio silence for a while now, so I have to assume they're still working on it. I wonder how they'll treat the carry-over at the end of the month, as they don't have the faintest idea of the amount of cap we used...

They should double everyone's data, like they did when they upgraded their billing system.

I'm inclined to agree with you.

I have sent yet another email to Gcebile Rakharebe asking about whether it's still broken (as my 180MB reduction seems to indicate), whether we'll get refunded for missing cap and what they intend on doing with regards to the carry-over at the end of the month. Hopefully I will get a response this time instead of being ignored like my previous email

Joy, a response stating that the usage statistics on the website are still incorrect, however they are still able to correctly and accurately monitor our usage. As proof, I was sent the same usage report which showed cap being used every hour while my router and modem was unplugged. Not to mention that my balance remaining differs wildly, sometimes being increased by hundreds of megabytes then being decreased by hundreds of megabytes with no apparent cause.

What little faith I had in iBurst is gone. I will be taking this matter to ICASA if I am not refunded my missing cap within the week.
