Would appear they a lot bigger than their USB 2.0 counterparts??

That's just the Corsair Voyager. They've always been bigger. Should've gotten the Mini.

Then if you needed speed and portability you should've gotten something else?

no man I meant the mini will be slower... Sure you can get smaller flash drives, but they are much slower.

my dad has the more expensive Corsair GT USB 2.0 and my new one is literally twice the speed

 it :)

@NomNom: Does that drive get hot when running at full speed? A little while ago I saw a similar device from Kingston which may require a second USB 2 port to supply enough power.

It gets warm, not hot, and this drive doesn't require anything extra, no extra cables no nothing, it's the reason I bought it over the kingston at the time.

I also have an ADATA 8GB USB3 flash drive, and the only thing I have to complain about is the lack of activity indicator light.
The size is perfect, since it fits in my wallet, like all my previous flash drives.

I've had a Super Talent Pico 4GB USB2 flash drive, and it got extremely hot and it didn't connect properly on most PC's. So, all-in-all I'm very happy with my ADATA FD.
