Hi all,

I would like to be able to use cellphone as extentions instead of using traditional PABX, when reception receives a call , it must be able to forward it to a cellphone.

One vendor suggested a premicell which plugs into a PABX, whats the cheapest way of doing this, is there perhaps a handset that has premicell or sim slot that can do that without the need to acquire more hardware?

Regards,

Yeastar also has the option of using an app for your ext, but you will require some kind of pbx be it 3CX/Yeastar/Asterisk or whatever to have the ext options

Not sure what you're currently using for the main system, but we use 3CX which allows for cellphones to be used as extensions
Was going to suggest 3CX.
I run a server for my mom's company back in SA, and I use the app on my phone to make calls to people in SA from the UK.
Been using 3CX for almost a decade and after experiencing other platforms I have to say that I love 3CX more and more.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from anyone who suggested you use Permicell. It sounds like you’ve been speaking to a salesperson from the eighties. This is totally easy and simple with most PABX systems today. If you have more than 5 users and a budget of R499 per month, then message me. Alternatively, there are a number of choices from many providers.
